I wanted to let the people who remember Alice Bindoff know that she died on Tuesday 25th September. She had undergone her second major operation in a year and her body was too frail to cope with yet another assault. She had been a teacher on Canvey Island from the 1950's till the 1990's. She moved up to Newcastle upon Tyne to live with me (her daughter Madeleine)in 1996.
The funeral is on Friday 5th October at Whitley Bay Crematorium at 2pm. No flowers thank you but donations to the MS Society.

I'm very sorry to hear that Alice Bindoff has died. Thankyou so much for taking the trouble to let us all know about it. She was a good woman, a good teacher and a loss to all.
